About the role

Coppermine 4 Seasons is seeking a Swim Lesson Instructor to teach swimming lessons to children and adults.

The position also includes lifeguarding responsibilities at various locations including Coppermine Fieldhouse (Baltimore), Cascade Park, Coppermine White Marsh Swim Club, and Coppermine Green Valley.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children and adults
• Assist with lifeguarding duties at multiple locations
• Ensure safety of swimmers and facility
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Requirements

• Valid lifeguard certification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and evenings
• Experience with group instruction and supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Previous experience in swim instruction and/or lifeguarding

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of CPR and First Aid
