Join the Swift Creek Family YMCA (Hampton Park) as a part-time swim instructor and lead swim lessons for participants of all ages at our pool. Open availability is preferred.
Pay
$15–$16 per hour
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming skills and basic water safety to small groups of students using a variety of tools and techniques
- Incorporate YMCA core values into lessons
- Work a variety of shifts with participants of different ages
Requirements
- Enthusiastic and energetic with strong interpersonal skills
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
Qualifications
Preferred (but not required):
- YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
- Ellis & Associates Lifeguard certification
- WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certification
