Swim Instructor

Duties

• Lead swim lessons for program participants
• Work with small groups of students teaching swimming skills
• Teach basic water safety
• Implement a variety of teaching techniques
• Work with a variety of ages and types of students

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
• Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications (preferred but not required)
• If not certified, we will provide training
