About the role

Mercor is hiring music experts for a frontier generative-music AI lab, working in Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe melodies by ear with accurate pitch and rhythm
• Recognize key, tempo, and time signature
• Handle sung lyrics with strong fluency, including accents and less-clear delivery

Requirements

• Formal musical training or professional experience
• A degree in music, or several years working as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher

Qualifications

• Strong ear for music
• Fluency in Swedish for handling sung lyrics

Skills

• Music transcription skills
• Understanding of music theory
• Ability to work with AI systems
