Primary Responsibilities
Report to the Executive Vice President to achieve strategic goals and objectives
Responsible for leading a team of branch managers and sales professionals across a group of retail branches within a defined geographic region
Drives results through talent management strategies, behavior-based coaching and developing a team of direct and indirect report to achieve their full potential and meet business objectives
Leverages relationships with product and line of business partners to benefit the customer and achieve sales/financial results
Oversees recruiting, hiring and training within region
Responsible for overall financial performance of defined region, budget adherence, growing customer base and increasing the number of customers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Must meet all NMLS requirements
Proven leadership abilities and strategic management skills
Thorough understanding of branch financials and business acumen and knowledge of financial products and services
Superior interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, motivated, energetic, with excellent time-management skills
A minimum of 10 years in the mortgage industry and 5 years in a retail banking management
Experience preferred
Ability to provide timely and helpful information to others across the organization and encourage the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions
Ability to engage in difficult conversations, listen with empathy and deescalate situations.
