About the role
This full-time, hybrid position will lead integrated consumer work and client relationships for an iconic global brand, serving as a leader to help grow our practice. As a senior member of the team, you will champion accounts from brief to execution, driving clarity and sell-in for cross-disciplinary ideas while delivering success across channels. We seek a leader who understands how to tell compelling stories in today’s ever-evolving earned media landscape.
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day client contact and business leader for large consumer accounts and workstreams
- Oversee and develop insight-driven ideas rooted in culture and today’s earned media landscape to meet clients’ business and marketing goals
- Act as an expert in earned media, crafting stories that break through in a changing marketing and communications environment
- Partner directly with team members across communications, creative, design, influencer, and production to oversee integrated projects
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas, translating them into simple, effective executions
- Stay ahead of the social, digital, and cultural landscape to identify untapped opportunities and fresh thinking
- Serve as a thought-partner for senior-level clients, deepening relationships and understanding their business needs
- Align earned media, talent, content, and influencer strategies with clients’ overarching objectives
- Proactively anticipate client needs and keep multiple activities moving forward
- Provide mentorship and leadership to agency teams while remaining hands-on to deliver success
- Participate in and lead new business pitch development and presentations
- Serve on the Brand Communications leadership team, helping build new capabilities, drive office culture, and mentor staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience
- 12+ years of agency experience, managing or contributing to integrated, earned-first creative ideation and campaign execution
- Proven track record in client leadership, driving earned-first work, and achieving results and account growth
- Ability to connect big-picture strategy with tactical execution, with a conceptual and editorial mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading clients and teams, and proactive problem-solving
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for teamwork, with experience building brand partnerships, integrated communications strategies, and large-scale event activations
- Resourceful, adaptable, and driven to deliver results in an ever-evolving environment
- Experience overseeing earned media results across diverse clients and categories (lifestyle, travel, consumer tech, luxury, sports)
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (e.g., team upskilling, GEO) is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas

Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $190,000–$220,000 for New York City-based hires, pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation will be determined by relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in New York City.
