Green Room is seeking a strategic, data-driven, collaborative leader to serve as SVP, Digital Strategy & Analytics due to our growth as a digital-first, healthcare PR and communications agency. This role will lead the agency’s digital offerings, including digital strategy and asset development (websites, social media), analytics, and omnichannel capabilities within the healthcare and life sciences space.

About the Role

This role will advance the agency's digital and omnichannel offerings and leverage data and analytics to inform communications strategies and channels that support our clients' business needs. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT), the SVP will oversee insight mining, measurement and reporting frameworks, identify emerging trends and technologies, and partner with account teams to execute insight-driven communications.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • In partnership with the Leadership Team (LT), evolve Green Room’s digital-first strategy, growing the agency’s capabilities and offerings.
    • Drive innovation and business impact across digital and omnichannel communications using data-driven insights (e.g., audience intelligence, social listening, AI-enabled insights, and measurement).
    • Stay ahead of emerging digital, social, search, and AI trends and identify new opportunities for Green Room.
    • Drive Green Room’s digital marketing strategy and execution to elevate the agency as a thought leader.
    • Identify new business opportunities and participate in or lead new business recommendations.
  • Client Management & Strategic Counsel
    • Serve as a senior client-facing advisor, providing proactive, real-time counsel and strategic guidance to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.
    • Evaluate client needs and identify opportunities to drive organic growth.
    • Lead digital, social, and omnichannel strategy development aligned to client business objectives.
    • Oversee digital campaigns, including planning, implementation, and optimization based on data.
    • Advise clients on AEO, GEO, SEO, discoverability, search evolution, AI-driven content ecosystems, and omnichannel engagement best practices.
    • Own and lead paid digital activation.
    • Nurture client relationships and ensure strategic, high-quality digital execution.
    • Lead channel strategies and patient/customer journey planning.
  • Analytics & Measurement
    • Establish agency-wide measurement and reporting frameworks that connect communications to business outcomes.
    • Lead the development of data dashboards, reporting approaches, and performance scorecards that identify actionable insights.
    • Oversee analysis of media, social, search, website, campaign, and engagement data.
    • Develop benchmarks, KPIs, and reporting methodologies to demonstrate business value and impact.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
    • Build and evolve digital and analytics capabilities, ensuring appropriate resourcing, including external vendors and internal experts.
    • Identify mentoring and training opportunities to elevate digital and analytics capabilities across the agency.
    • Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Innovation & Technology
    • Evaluate and implement new platforms, tools, and technologies to enhance Green Room's digital capabilities.
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and strategic insight generation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience in digital communications, digital strategy, analytics/measurement, with at least a portion in a healthcare communications/PR agency.
  • Omnichannel digital marketing experience a plus; client-side corporate experience a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with experience contributing to account growth and new business development.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare stakeholder ecosystems, including HCP, patient, advocacy, payer, and corporate audiences.
  • Experience managing teams and leading enterprise-level client relationships.
  • Demonstrated success building digital and analytics capabilities.
  • Solution-oriented problem-solving approach.
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, proposal-writing, and client communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative, anticipatory, nimble, and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial agency environment.
  • Willingness to function as a player-coach.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 USD - $225,000 USD. The actual salary offered will depend on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, education, and internal equity.
