SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager
Essential Functions
- Maintains and grows existing and new commercial loans while providing superior customer service.
- Negotiates and structures new and renewed commercial loans; prepares and documents current applications; reviews and analyzes financial data and other relevant information to determine each customer’s eligibility for credit.
- Extensive knowledge of all bank products; identifies relationship-expansion opportunities and collaborates with partners to structure, coordinate, and fulfill credit and non-credit solutions, including cash management.
- Initiates and implements an effective calling program to focus efforts on maintaining and increasing commercial banking relationships.
- Represents the Bank in community organizations and activities to enhance the Bank’s image and maintain and enhance a referral network with Centers of Influence (COI’s) for business development opportunities.
- Supports the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) through business development efforts. Actively participates in community organizations.
- Maintains a current knowledge of bank regulations. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Fifteen or more years’ experience in financial or banking services in commercial lending with proven track record of exceeding performance in developing and maintaining business in the commercial industry.
- Bachelor Degree from accredited college in accounting, business, or finance or equivalent experience.
- MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
- Excellent sales skills with ability to meet or exceed established loan and deposit sales goals within expected timelines.
- Credit analysis and commercial underwriting skills, including accounting, financial statement, and cash flow analysis experience.
- Working knowledge with structuring credit products to middle market businesses in diverse industries with complex ownership structures.

- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of local and regional markets.
