Responsibilities

  • Makes and services a variety of loans for commercial customers including secured and unsecured, capital, equipment, real estate, interim construction, personal, small business administration, and working capital loans.
  • Evaluates each loan for profitability and proper structuring to protect the Bank's interests and makes decisions that merit serious consideration.
  • Performs business development activities within the commercial business market area and conducts heavy customer contacts.
  • Promotes the services and profitability of the Bank.
  • Develops new business to ensure a constant increase in loans and income to the Bank.
  • Participates in Customer Service First sales and service culture, supports the organization’s values, and follows established company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (an advantage).
  • Six years of previous banking experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Professional demeanor and effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (an advantage).
  • Must have six years of previous banking experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Must have professional demeanor and effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.
