About the role

Assist with the collection and documentation of data related projects and employee outreach programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and document data for projects such as:
    • Waste audit data from annual audits performed
    • Refrigerant and pesticide use at leased facilities
    • Purchasing records of applicable products and services
  • Assist in development and coordination of employee outreach programs such as:
    • Lunch and Learns
    • Garden club activities
    • New Employee Resources
    • Internal Intranet posts and Videos

Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program
  • Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two- or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
  • Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proactive in soliciting feedback and asking questions
  • Preferred education level: Junior to Graduate Student
  • Preferred degree concentrations:
    • Financial Studies
    • Business Administration
    • Communications Studies
    • Environmental Studies
    • Liberal Arts
    • Natural Science
    • Public Administration
