About the role
Assist with the collection and documentation of data related projects and employee outreach programs.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document data for projects such as:
- Waste audit data from annual audits performed
- Refrigerant and pesticide use at leased facilities
- Purchasing records of applicable products and services
- Assist in development and coordination of employee outreach programs such as:
- Lunch and Learns
- Garden club activities
- New Employee Resources
- Internal Intranet posts and Videos
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program
- Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two- or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Data and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Proactive in soliciting feedback and asking questions
- Preferred education level: Junior to Graduate Student
