Suspension/Lift Technician

About the role

The Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician (Service Specialist) oversees all activity within our service shop, ensuring shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed, and shop inventory, product, tools, and equipment are maintained. This is a full-time opportunity offering a family atmosphere, excellent pay, and future growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform lift kits on trucks
• Install leveling kits
• Install brakes
• Mount, balance, and install tires and wheels
• Operate tire mounting and balancing machines
• Install vehicle lifts
• Perform alignments
• Handle light front-end work
• Oversee all activity in the installation shop
• Place product and supply orders
• Organize delivered merchandise
• Identify and properly tag all returned products
• Clean and maintain returned products
• Maintain an organized inventory system
• Control parts spending
• Lift and organize heavy product (must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted)

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in suspension/lift installation, tire/wheel service, or related automotive work
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to hire
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or alignment tech is helpful

Pay

$18.00 – $23.00 per hour, with potential to earn between $35,000 – $50,000 annually including bonuses
