About the role

The Survivor Response Advocate is responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to individuals affected by traumatic events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to survivors of trauma
  • Assist in the development and implementation of community-based programs
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
  • Participate in regular training and professional development activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health or social services
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
