About the role
The Survivor Response Advocate is responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to individuals affected by traumatic events.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to survivors of trauma
- Assist in the development and implementation of community-based programs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Participate in regular training and professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health or social services
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
