Surveyor - Hospital Nurse

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Hold a master’s degree in appropriate discipline
• Current professional license in discipline required at time of hire and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment
• Hold a CPHQ certification (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) through National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) at time of hire or attain by 12/31/28
• Five years of recent health care experience, including 3 years of direct clinical experience in the appropriate health care settings, and 3 years of accreditation, certification leadership or senior management experience
• Contemporary knowledge of and experience in health care operations, clinical practice, use of performance improvement methods to assess organizational performance, and current research and trends relative to health care practices is essential
• Direct involvement in two Joint Commission surveys
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, interviewing, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Requirements

• Available to work two weeks (.48 FTE) or three weeks (.7 FTE) per month and must provide two or three weeks of availability for scheduling purposes
• Full time position requires four weeks of availability
• All positions require 100% nationwide travel
• Must be able to observe, in real time and without slowing or otherwise interrupting the progress of all applicable types of ongoing health care treatment
• Standing for long periods of time, walking lengthy distances, lifting, climbing, stooping, pulling, and pushing to adequately inspect and observe all medical facilities, equipment, and procedures
• Must be able to engage in extensive travel as set forth above, including driving a car to remote locations, flying on small airplanes and into small airports, traveling in all types of weather conditions, etc.

Min USD $117,000.00/year
Max USD $117,000.00/year

Schedule

Due to extensive travel requirements, candidates must be located within approximately 50 miles of a major commercial airport with direct access to domestic and/or international flight routes and facilities capable of accommodating wide-body aircraft.
