Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- CAD Drafting & Technical Work:
- Prepare detailed survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Draft surveys from field data, point files, and maps
- Perform point data rotation, setup, and quality checks
- Ensure drawings meet established survey standards and project requirements
- Survey Knowledge:
- Apply understanding of surveying principles to support drafting work
- Auxiliary tasks include deed plotting, boundary analysis, and map interpretation
- Support boundary closures and basic deed research where applicable
- Project Coordination:
- Manage multiple drafting assignments and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain organized files and adhere to CAD standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in survey drafting or related role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of survey data, maps, and drafting techniques
- Familiarity with deed research and boundary concepts is a plus
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
