Survey Technician T1

About the role

GRAEF is seeking an entry-level Survey Technician to join our Survey Services team in Milwaukee Headquarters. The ideal candidate will have recent associate degree in surveying, civil technology, or related field, or be in pursuit of such a degree.

Responsibilities

• Collect, measure, layout, and record data about land features and property boundaries to support construction projects, land development, and mapping initiatives.
• Process and map Topographic Surveys.
• Prepare construction staking layouts.
• Perform utility coordination.

Requirements

• Recent associate degree graduate, or in pursuit of an associates degree in surveying, civil technology, or related field.
• Candidates with work-related survey technician experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Land Surveying fundamentals and equipment a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft office, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and terrain.
• Occasional out of town travel should be expected.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
