About the role
Sandis is currently looking for a Survey Runner to join our team in Campbell, CA. If you are organized, have good time management skills and want to start your land surveying career, we would love to connect and discuss the possibilities at Sandis!
Responsibilities
- Aid in purchasing, scheduling services, and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, survey equipment and assets.
- Coordinate with survey field crews on issues relating to supplies, equipment and vehicle needs.
- Aid in all survey assets, equipment, and leases using the asset tracking system.
- Help update and maintain the company asset tracking system and tools.
- Perform inspections of assets including fleet.
- Update and maintain appropriate documents including warranties, schedule maintenance records, terms and conditions of leased equipment.
- Order consumables for the field crew.
- Attend monthly field safety meetings.
- Maintain the equipment storage areas.
- Set up equipment and supply flag stakes and chasers.
- Aid in traffic control for the field crew.
Requirements
- A High School Degree.
- One to two years in the Construction Industry preferred.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and able to multitask.
Qualifications
- The ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.
- The ability to walk, sit, or stand throughout the day.
- The ability to stand and/or drive up to 12 hours per day.
