Survey Regional Manager - Texas & Louisiana
About the role
Phasor Engineering LLC is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for a permanent position within the southern United States to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate must be licensed in Texas and Louisiana and willing to obtain additional licenses in other states. This is a professional position with large-scale engineering and construction projects and a fast-paced working environment. The candidate should be open to work-from-home or a hybrid work scenario.
Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of project execution
- Establishing communication protocols for the project
- Identifying client or Phasor interest holders and decision makers
- Implementing change management strategies
- Disseminating information through various routes and procedures
- Developing systematic processes for project data and reporting
- Assessing and controlling project finances
- Conducting periodic reviews to identify risks
- Liaising with Phasor personnel on project requirements
- Mobilizing and managing shift schedules for Crew Chiefs and Survey Assistants
- Coordinating crew allocation between projects
- Engaging in general business development activities in the Southern region of the US
- Possessing prior transmission line experience (asset)
Requirements
The candidate must be licensed in Texas and Louisiana and willing to obtain additional licenses in other states. They should have a strong background in land surveying, excellent communication skills, and experience in project management. A bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field is preferred.
Qualifications
Experience in large-scale engineering and construction projects is essential. Proficiency in using advanced geomatics technologies such as GPS systems, terrestrial scanners, drones, and LiDAR is a plus. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary.
