About the role

Dynamic Survey, a division of Dynamic Engineering Consultants, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual with field survey knowledge and experience for small to large-scale commercial, residential, and private-sector projects. This leadership position includes mentoring and developing staff while maintaining presence and leadership in the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional, and business organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Boundary, Title, and ALTA Surveys
  • Aerial and Topographic Surveys
  • Utility locations including pipe inverts and sizes
  • Construction Layout
  • Right-of-Way Surveys
  • Utility Surveys
  • Wetland Location Surveys
  • Prepare Proposals
  • Client management and overall satisfaction
  • Mentor and develop staff
  • Manage field crews and survey technicians
  • Manage projects to be delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience
  • Experience with robotic total stations, GPS, leveling, field procedures, boundary analysis, and resolution
  • Familiar with CIVIL3D and Land Development Desktop
  • Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Independent and critical thinking abilities
  • Organized, self-motivated, and requires minimal supervision
  • Good communicator
  • Flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle

Pay

The salary range for this position is $105,000–$120,000. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for the position at the time of posting. Starting compensation will be determined based on an individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
