Survey Project Manager - Dynamic Survey

About the role

Dynamic Survey, a division of Dynamic Engineering Consultants, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Project Manager with field survey knowledge and experience for small to large-scale commercial, residential, and private sector projects. This leadership position includes mentoring and developing staff while maintaining presence and leadership in the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional, and business organizations.

Responsibilities

• Boundary, Title, and ALTA Surveys
• Aerial and Topographic Surveys
• Utility locations including pipe inverts and sizes
• Construction Layout
• Right-of-Way Surveys
• Utility Surveys
• Wetland Location Surveys
• Prepare Proposals
• Client management and overall satisfaction
• Mentor and develop staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience
• Experience with robotic total stations, GPS, leveling, field procedures, boundary analysis, and resolution
• Manage projects to be delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Must have flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle
• Familiar with CIVIL3D and Land Development Desktop
• Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry
• Strong technical background
• The ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training

Skills

• Organized and self-motivated with minimal supervision required
• Good communicator
• Ability to manage field crews and survey technicians
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Independent and critical thinking abilities
