Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand the scope of projects
- Develop proposals
- Develop meeting minutes
- Review budget adherence throughout the project
- Perform quality control review on reports, plans, specifications, and other contract documents prepared by others for accuracy and completeness.
- Able to review and work within Bluebeam, AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Provide assistance to staff in the preparation of reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents.
- Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks.
- Aid in the preparation of project/task work plans.
- Provide directions to staff to complete project objectives.
- Maintain oversight of the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.
- Ability to analyze and prepare complete boundary survey is preferred. This includes compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in surveying technology, bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology, associate’s degree in construction technology, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in land surveying, engineering or construction required
- Must have managed design and construction projects for a minimum of two years
- Professional licensure strongly encouraged
- Able to travel within a six-hour radius
- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
