The Wooten Company’s Raleigh, NC office is seeking a team-focused Survey Crew Party Chief to work closely with the Geomatics Practice Team. This position involves organizing and managing field survey activities, including data collection for mapping and staking for construction, in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate and record field data.
• Perform topographical surveys, as-built surveys, ALTA surveys, property surveys, and construction staking.
• Maintain and operate instruments and measuring devices for various survey assignments.
• Manage survey schedules and subcontractors.
• Mentor and train survey field assistants.

Requirements

• Experience with Trimble GNSS receivers and robotic total stations is a plus.
• Associate’s degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or a related field, or comparable experience.
• Comprehensive grasp of survey field data processing.
• Fundamental understanding of GNSS technology.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
