Survey Party Chief
About The Role
You serve as the leader of a field crew, taking charge of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic data collection, and construction staking.
You operate and adjust instruments such as total stations and GPS/GNSS receivers, including Trimble hardware and software like TSC3, Access, and TBC. Experience with laser scanning instruments is an added asset.
You know how to interpret engineering plans, legal descriptions, and deeds to collect all the data necessary for accurate and efficient survey work.
You are familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and although your focus is in the field, you understand how your data integrates into the broader workflow.
You are licensed to drive and ready to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice, for assignments across the region.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 4 years of field experience in land surveying.
Pay
Starting pay ranges from $34.00-$42.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
