Survey Party Chief
We are seeking a Survey Party Chief with 4 to 8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew. The role involves performing boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeouts, monitoring, and as-built surveys.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a survey field crew in conducting boundary and topographic surveys.
- Perform construction stakeouts, monitoring, and as-built surveys.
- Ensure the precision and accuracy of survey data collected in the field.
Requirements
- 4 - 8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew.
- Proficiency in construction, land surveying, and stakeout.
- Experience with total station equipment.
- Strong construction experience.
- Ability to pass drug and record checks.
- Valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required as you will be operating a company vehicle.
Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain activity throughout the workday, including extended periods of walking.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for overnight or long-term project assignments as needed.
After 6 months, there is potential for conversion to a permanent position with an employee stock ownership program.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule
- Standard holidays, as well as PTO during assignment.
- This is a Contract to Hire position with premium compensation.
This is a fully onsite position based in Frederick, MD.
