Role Overview
As a Survey Manager at United Infrastructure Group (UIG), you will provide essential surveying services for construction projects, including bridges, highways, foundations, and other heavy civil projects. Your responsibilities include providing construction survey and layout services, assisting with survey computations and data collection, verifying survey data accuracy, preparing and maintaining survey records, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years' experience with Heavy Highway and Civil Survey; bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Experience with analytical or scientific software, AutoCAD, Trimble & Topcon, Total Station Robotic Survey Equipment, and GPS machine control support.
- 3D Modeling required.
- Ability to supervise and manage a site crew.
- Ability to build TIN / BIM maps.
- Must observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Able to pass a Drug Test.
- Legally eligible to work in the US.
- Open to working different shifts if needed by the project.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every workday (driver's license preferred).
- Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools).
- Willingness to travel for project requirements (multi-state opportunities).
