What You Will Be Doing
- Provides work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff
- Ensures that crews perform layout work competently and accurately
- Checks as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques
- Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities
- Affords assistance with conducting quantity calculations as required
- Maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment
- Collaborates with assigned engineer and superintendents to meet construction requirements
- Manages survey department resources and department assigned budget
What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping required
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Expert knowledge of land mapping and technical survey instrument techniques
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Pay
Salary Min USD $100,000.00/Yr.
Salary Max USD $132,000.00/Yr.
