Survey Field Technician

Lamp Rynearson is seeking a Survey Field Technician for its Kansas City office. This position involves operating modern survey equipment such as drones, 3D laser scanners, GPS, and total stations.

Responsibilities

• Operate modern survey equipment like drones, 3D laser scanners, GPS, and total stations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform physical labor including lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
• Work in various weather conditions and travel as needed.
• Show up on time and be available to work overtime including weekends.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Desire to be part of a successful team.
• Eagerness to learn how to operate drones and 3D laser scanners.
• Aptitude to become proficient using GPS and Robotic Total Stations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
• Available to travel and work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays, as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in construction and land surveying (helpful but not required).
• An associate degree in a surveying program or related field (helpful but not required).
