Survey Field Crew Coordinator

About the role

The Survey Field Crew Coordinator/Technician at Halff in Fort Worth, TX assists department personnel with planning and scheduling of field personnel and equipment. They oversee the instruction and direction of survey crews, including daily updates on projects and field crew support. Responsibilities also include performing quality control duties for all types of survey data in Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Aids in planning and scheduling of field personnel and equipment
• Oversees survey crews' instruction and direction
• Ensures quality control of survey data in Trimble Business Center
• Maintains company vehicles, equipment, and supplies

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Technician
• Experience in producing survey maps and plats
• Experience in preparing legal descriptions
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, a plus
• SIT or CST I, II, or III certification preferred
• Previous field experience as a surveyor
• TxDOT, Electrical or Land Development survey technician experience
• Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Design
• Experience with Trimble Business Center
• High level of education (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences)

Preferred Requirements

• SIT or CST I, II, or III certification
• Previous field experience as a surveyor
• TxDOT, Electrical or Land Development survey technician experience
• Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Design
• Experience with Trimble Business Center
