Responsibilities
- Drives to and from sites daily.
- Set up, adjust, and operate survey equipment including - level, robotic total station, data collector and GPS equipment.
- Proficient in Construction Staking.
- Reviewing survey field calculations.
- Locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control.
- Utilizing various surveying equipment.
- Preparing field notes.
- Responsible to maintain work-issued vehicle, and survey equipment.
- Follow Hamilton’s safety protocols.
- Work independently as a one-man crew, when needed.
- Able to read and interpret engineering/construction plans.
- Effectively communicate with contractors, inspectors and team leads in high-pressure environments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Technical degree.
- Five (5) plus years of experience in Construction Staking, Topo, & ALTA.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic knowledge/skills with various data collecting software and general computer knowledge.
- Physical capabilities: Lift 50 lbs.; driving lath with small sledge; on feet 4-5 hrs. at a time; work in direct sunlight.

Schedule
- 8-10 hour shifts.
- Monday to Friday.
