Survey CAD Technician III
About the role
Supports office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables.
Reports to the Project Manager and performs technical tasks using the latest technology in the A/E/C industry.
Increases project efficiency and client satisfaction by processing data utilizing SAM standards, evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor.
Maintains production and quality assurance of field crews.
Prepares survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions, and alignment drawings.
Conducts quality control checks on plats, drawings, and deliverables prepared by other technicians.
Coordinates with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are met.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 5+ years field and office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, DTM projects, and construction layout and data processing.
- Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D required; MicroStation is a plus.
- Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms is a plus however it is not necessary.
- S.I.T. Certification is a plus however, it is not necessary.
- Ability to work onsite at our Worcester office is preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Proficiency in technical math, including Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms.
- S.I.T. Certification (optional).

Pay
Salary Range: USD $30.00/per hour - USD $40.00/per hour
