Survey CAD Technician II
About the role
Supports office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables.
Reports to the Project Manager and performs technical tasks using the latest technology in the A/E/C industry.
Increases land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by processing data utilizing SAM standards, evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor.
Maintains production and quality assurance of field crew deliverables according to standards and best practices.
Coordinates with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met.
Responsibilities
- Processes incoming information and produces final land surveying project deliverables
- Supports office and field staff
- Utilizes the latest technology in the A/E/C industry
- Evaluates accuracy and sufficiency of data processed
- Ensures compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles
- Monitors field crew's production and quality assurance
- Carries out initial Quality Control (QC) of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
- Coordinates with supervisor to meet client-specific demands
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
- Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus
- Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
