Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate Basemaps and Existing Conditions plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Working knowledge of points and point groups.
- Create surfaces from points utilizing Feature Lines.
- Create profiles and cross sections from surfaces.
- Ensure plans comply with company CAD standards.
- Prepare new Tax Maps for municipal clients.
- Revise existing tax maps.
- Maintain organized project records and documentation for future reference.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Survey CAD Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Proficient with 2D and 3D AutoCad Civil 3D software.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering and land surveying principles, terminology, and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly attentive to detail, ensuring the accuracy of plans.
- Certificate of completion from a Technical School preferred.
