Survey CAD Technician

Job Summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced Land Surveying CAD Technician to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The role involves creating detailed survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D, processing raw field data using Trimble Business Center, preparing plats and easements, and performing quality control checks.

What You'll Do

• Drafting & Mapping - Create detailed survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Data Processing - Download, process, and analyze raw field data using surveying software, including Trimble Business Center.
• Platting & Easements - Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits for land subdivisions and conveyances.
• Collaboration - Work closely with field crews, project managers, and professional land surveyors to translate field data into professional documents.
• Quality Assurance - Perform quality control checks on all drawings to ensure they meet CEC's high standards and adhere to project specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil experience.
• Demonstrated experience processing survey data using Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Experience conducting field surveys preferred.
• Willingness to perform field/site visits as needed.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: Experience working with PLS CADD.
