About the role
Driesenga & Associates, Inc., a full-service professional surveying and civil engineering firm with offices throughout Michigan, is seeking a Survey CAD Technician for its Kalamazoo, Michigan office. This position is ideal for an individual who excels in multitasking and communicating with licensed survey and engineering professionals as well as field technicians.
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil/site construction plans under the direction of the Project Manager or Group Manager.
- Generate data points for use in construction staking.
- Perform survey data reduction.
- Prepare final drawings for boundary and topographical surveys.
- Assist the Civil Engineering Department in residential, commercial, and industrial development projects.
- Handle other miscellaneous civil engineering tasks.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in Survey or Civil Engineering CAD Drafting (candidates with less experience in other CAD fields may be considered).
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
