About the role
CADD Tech – Cardinal Civil Resources is seeking an employee with high integrity and excellent attention to detail to serve as a Survey CADD Operator.
Responsibilities
- Perform office duties such as data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks, and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD.
- Produce daily CADD work to complete boundary, topographic, and house‑location surveys.
- Draft grading plans, easement plats, and ALTA/NSPS land‑title surveys.
- Utilize Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD as the primary software and GIS as secondary.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, self‑motivation, and critical thinking.
- Perform mathematical calculations and verify field data.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Identify basic sources of measurement errors.
- Apply basic understanding of geometry and grading.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a civil engineering environment.
- Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (required).
- Good interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication abilities.
- Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable record.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug testing.
