About the role

Responsible for maintaining and managing CCTV and digital recording systems. Keeps equipment operating with routine cleaning, repair, and installation of new or replacement digital equipment. Conducts business with minimal supervision while keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager advised of all technical needs. As knowledge increases, the work schedule will include on-call 24/7 status for equipment and service-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Keep an accurate record of equipment malfunctions, fix any malfunctions in a timely manner, and report such to the appropriate authorities while keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager informed.
  • Maintain equipment related to CCTV, digital systems, camera placement, installations, digital recorders, cable pulls, wiring, and other related duties under the direction of the Surveillance Technician Manager.
  • Work various shifts and weekends if needed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment under the direction of the Technician Manager.
  • Assist various departments with CCTV and/or digital-related equipment at the Surveillance Technician Manager’s approval.
  • Maintain and update any CCTV equipment certifications (Digital, IP, or Analog).
  • Stay up to date with new equipment technology (Digital, IP, or Analog).
  • Provide a positive attitude and communication when working with casino employees, co-workers, and Surveillance management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Technician Manager or Surveillance Director outside the assigned job duties.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed when conducting maintenance or installations of equipment.
  • Ensure the Surveillance Department takes necessary steps to safeguard Tribal Gaming Assets and remains in compliance with Federal, State laws, rules, regulations, and the MICS.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in a gaming environment or related field.
  • Working knowledge of current ACGC Surveillance Equipment at properties regulated by ACGC and associated computer databases.
  • Knowledge of pulling cable and installing cameras and surveillance-related equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, maps, and electronic diagrams.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, toning, switches, punch downs, relays, disc arrays, and installation of fixed and PTZ cameras.
  • Knowledge of computer skills, Digital systems, IP systems, and the ability to keep learning as technology progresses.
