About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surveillance Support Specialist to join our Investigations team. This role plays an important part in supporting surveillance operations from case preparation through final reporting, helping ensure our field investigators have the information they need and our clients receive timely, accurate, and high-quality investigative results.
The ideal candidate brings investigative experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary desktop investigations and case research to prepare files for field surveillance investigators.
- Review surveillance video and case materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Prepare clear, concise, and professional investigative reports based on surveillance activity and findings.
- Support the timely progression of surveillance assignments by maintaining accurate case information and identifying issues requiring follow-up.
- Collaborate with investigators and internal team members to ensure high-quality case execution and deliverables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant investigative or surveillance support experience; or a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field with relevant professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, legal professionals, investigators, and internal teams.
- Experience with investigative case management platforms; TrackOps experience strongly preferred.
- Tech-savvy, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
Pay
$22 - $28 an hour
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
