Surveillance Operator - Eldorado Scioto Downs ( Columbus, Ohio)

About the role

Responsible for the video monitoring of all vital areas within Scioto Downs. Includes complete documentation of live situations within the casino and supporting departments, as well as providing video recordings of past events for investigations.

Responsibilities

• After training, must be knowledgeable and proficient in all games
• Monitor slot operations
• Monitor cage, vault, and count room activities
• Monitor non-gaming areas of the Resort
• Complete written logs of activities during the shift
• Prepare written observation and policy violation reports
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to write neat and legible reports
• Must pass a test demonstrating the ability to write neatly and communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in close proximity to fellow employees and be multi-task oriented
• Must be polite, well-groomed, and neat in appearance
• Prior military, security, or law enforcement experience is desirable
• Computer handling experience is helpful
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
• May be exposed to a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing
• Must be able to pass a background investigation
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
