Surveillance Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the card room via surveillance systems to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify, report, and document any suspicious activities or potential threats.
• Aid in investigations of incidents in compliance with company policies.
• Work closely with management to exchange information regarding potential issues or risk areas.
• Conduct and document reviews as requested by management and outside agencies.
• Ensure the proper functioning of surveillance equipment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of surveillance observations and activities.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise with surveillance equipment and software programs.
• Regularly utilize computers, phones, and handheld radios.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully pass a background investigation.
• Obtain and maintain a Florida gaming license.
• The ability to maintain focus and make accurate observations over prolonged periods of time is crucial.
• Proficiency with computers is required.
• Strong observational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully fluent in English; verbal and written forms.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
