Responsibilities
- Perform specific surveillance duties in accordance with established procedures, to protect the integrity of the company’s operations, as well as the security and well-being of customers, employees, and company assets
- Report all illegal and/or unusual activities to the Supervisor
- Operate all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, the network system, monitors, computers, and cameras as assigned. Use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing programs required
- Observe report and record all daily casino and land-based activity using closed circuit television monitors to identify illegal or unusual activities occurring on property
- Work in partnership with the Security Department to ensure protection of customers, employees and company funds and assets
- Prepare and complete all daily activity reports and incident reports as required and directed by Surveillance Management
- Follow all instructions assigned by Surveillance Management
- Safeguard all confidential information and maintain department confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be able to sit in a quiet environment for extended periods of time
- Must be able to visualize distance, color, depth perception and adjust focus
- Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
- Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke and loud noises
Qualifications
- Must be able to follow the Company Service Standards model
- Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends
- Implements all approved procedures
- Provides guidance and procedural training to operators when required
- Periodically fills the role of a Lead when required
- Reviews and supervises daily activities, reports and all related reports and prepares shift reports for the Director of Surveillance
- Supervises activities related to surveillance of all gaming operations
Skills
- Knowledge of Indiana Gaming regulations
- Knowledge of company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- Ability to visualize distance, color, depth perception and adjust focus
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to work in an environment with secondhand smoke and loud noises

Schedule
The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.
