Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a designated shift.
- Support, administer, and manage operational goals, monitor performance and profit objectives.
- Create effective and efficient schedules, manage labor costs, meet staffing objectives, and ensure coverage mandates.
- Assist in the budget process for the department, provide recommendations, support compliance with budget initiatives, and report budget concerns to manager.
- Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
- Affirmatively support and address customer service standards among team members and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist in enforcing gaming laws and regulations related to the Surveillance Department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, internal control, and policies and procedures during daily operations.
- Safeguard company assets at all times and submit reports for incidents, infractions, and violations.
- Analyze physical property, processes, and procedures to oversee and enforce compliance policies.
- Serve as a liaison with gaming regulators, public law enforcement, and other agencies.
- Review financial reports to ensure Surveillance operation efficiency and quality control.
- Conduct, supervise, and prepare reports for any incidents reported.
- Manage attendance and time records.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One to two years of casino Surveillance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Thorough knowledge of casino operations, casino games, casino cheating and embezzlement scams, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems and database software.
- Advanced computer knowledge; proficient in all Microsoft applications including email use, incident report data entry, and report writing.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand bar graphs.
