Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.
- Investigates various incidents that concern the welfare of the casino.
- Reviews and approves all documents as needed.
- Assists the Security Shift Supervisor in the supervision and direction of Guest Safety Officers in performing their duties and procedures of the company.
- Aids in the preparation of schedules and daily paperwork.
- Develops a strong working relationship with the police department.
- Conducts good public relations with all guests and company employees.
- Monitors, switches, computers, controllers and cameras.
- Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Maintains a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Follows the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
- Operates the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Responds calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Sees and remembers the specific details of incidents and persons.
- Lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Writes detailed reports.
- Changes shifts on short notice.
- Speaks and understands English.
- Tolerates areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Works in a low light environment.
Qualifications
- Previous surveillance experience preferred but not required.
- A thorough working knowledge of all casino games is preferred with an emphasis on payoffs, odds, procedures, and game protection.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational and writing skills.
- A working knowledge of Gaming Control Board Regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Basic computer operational skills.
- Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- A well-groomed appearance.
- A good math aptitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
