Initial Placement & Benefits

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

• Observe the facility via the CCTV system in a professional manner in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmental evidence.
• Prepare daily logs and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate.
• When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room, “patrol” the facility through the use of pan, tilt, and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Supervisor.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Basic computer and typing skills are required.
• The ability to learn work-related computer programs.
• The ability to read, write, and speak English.
• The ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies.
• The ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• The ability to write reports.
• The ability to perform basic math skills.
• The ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
• The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• The ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
• The ability to qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Qualifications

• Sitting 90% of the time.
• Standing 10% of the time.
• Lifting/moving maximum of 20 lbs.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination to operate camera switcher controls.
