Responsibilities
- Render safe nursing care to patients
- Supervise, direct, and monitor the nursing care assigned to her/him
- Administer medications
- Perform venipuncture
- Assist in the supervision and training of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing
- Current license as a LPN in the state of Louisiana
Skills
- Knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles
- Knowledge of anatomy
