LPN - Surgical Unit

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate patient care in a 43-bed Digestive Surgical Unit. In this role, you will assist with medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, trach care, dressing changes, and ostomy management. You will chart assessments and care plans after initial RN assessments, communicate with physicians to coordinate care, and reinforce patient education and discharge instructions. Qualifications include a State-licensed LPN certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and relevant clinical experience. Key skills include proficiency with wound vacs, IV pumps, drains, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitoring. The unit emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration with surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
