Surgical Technology Adjunct

Job Responsibilities

Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis
Maintain records of student attendance and progress
Provide consistent and appropriate time spent at each clinical facility
Understand policy for reporting accidents and completing incident reports
Develop clinical rotation schedules
Complete clinical evaluations per student for each clinical rotation
Input case information onto case summary spread sheet
Review all clinical documentation each week and provide student feedback in a timely manner
Attend relevant professional meetings
Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local, state, and national levels

Requirements

• Diploma in Surgical Technology
• National Surgical Technology Certification required
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
