About the Role

Support obstetric and neonatal care teams in a women’s care and infants unit, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Follow evidence-based practices and standards from AWHONN and AACN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practices
  • Assist in surgical procedures
  • Model proficiency through precepting
  • Contribute to patient safety and quality care

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
  • 6 months surgical tech experience or accredited training
  • BLS certification
