About the Role
Support obstetric and neonatal care teams in a women’s care and infants unit, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Follow evidence-based practices and standards from AWHONN and AACN.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practices
- Assist in surgical procedures
- Model proficiency through precepting
- Contribute to patient safety and quality care
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 6 months surgical tech experience or accredited training
- BLS certification
