About the role

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring on an experienced Surgical Technologist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Cath Lab Technologist onto our team. As a Surgical Technologist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Cath Lab Technologist you will be responsible for providing hands-on medical procedure assistance for GAE treatments of the knee, while maintaining a safe and sterile environment. You will provide support to Interventional Radiologists and our patients throughout each procedure in our GAE suite, and be expected to professionally communicate with your clinical team and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a comfortable and efficient patient experience
  • Monitor the procedure schedule
  • Prep for Genicular Artery Embolization procedures
  • Sterile prep of room, supplies, and patient
  • Proactively provide supplies and assist the physician throughout the procedure
  • Ensure proper sanitation and proper procedure room protocols
  • Manage all medical inventory

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Cath Lab Technologist
  • Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Requirements

  • Certified surgical technologist or interventional radiology technologist
  • Experience scrubbing into cases and managing
  • Experience with angiography cases is ideal
  • 2 years or more experience

Pay

$35 - $40/hr depending upon experience

Schedule

Two days per month, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
