About the Role

The Radiology Interventional Technologist performs imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, focusing on vascular structures and therapeutic interventions. They exercise professional judgment, provide patient-centered care, and respond to patients' age-specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and related procedures using medical imaging techniques.
• Demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation or intervention at the request of licensed practitioners.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to medical ethics.
• Ensure appropriate patient care and recognize conditions affecting procedure success.
• Respond knowledgeably to patients and families across all age groups.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification.
• National Registered Technologist in Radiography and Vascular-Interventional Radiography.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic radiology experience.
• Proficiency in computer entry and word processing.
