Responsibilities
- Aids physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
- Maintains and troubleshoots equipment to ensure quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology and hemodynamics.
- Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers.
- Trains and mentors employees and students.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
