About the role
Surgical Technologist III, supporting complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgeries.
- Select, handle, and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Anticipate and assist surgeons' needs across various specialties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure safety, precision, and efficiency during procedures.
- Conduct equipment checks and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
- Perform accurate counts of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Mentor and support junior surgical technologists.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, complex environments.
